Intervals - The Building Blocks of Music
Those of you who were with us last year might remember that we learned about the intervals involved in music. For those of you who are new, here's a quick review:
Intervals are the buildings blocks of music in general, and scales in particular
An interval is the distance between 2 notes
A minor 2nd (half step) is the smallest interval in western music
Scales are created using a particular arrangement of intervals (whole and half steps)
